What Happens When I Die?

To Joseph Natalizio The Talmud teaches that the soul enters the fetus at conception, so that an aborted fetus already has a soul. As with all death, the ways of G-d are unknown, and there is a reason why some souls come down for a full lifetime, some for a few short years, and some don't even make it to birth. That soul has accomplished whatever it had to accomplish, and is now able to go on to whatever it is G-d intends for it. This does not, however, have any implications for the rightness or wrongness of the human choice involved. We can make the wrong choice, yet the outcome is still able to accord with G-d's plan. Reply
