Day After That Sabbath Still, despite the prosing of the "sages" if we are to count from the second seder, we will always end at Sivan 6. That fact stubbornly makws the counting of 7 weeks redundant! This practice would not be consistent with the presumption of parsinomy in Torah. But, if it means what its plain meaning states, that we are to count from the next shabbot, then it indeed would be necessary to make the count and not just mark our calender to Sivan 6. Reply
