I had a traumatic childhood, can still barley remember first grade despite it should being my most memorable time. I filled in blanks in my head to make it a cohesive story with false memories that my parents correct me on, can show me proof I’m wrong. She admitted it too, her memories are blurry. The only people I’m intrested in hearing about the holocaust from are dead, killed by the “good guys”. Two sides to every story, upsets me I can’t find any in the nazi pov. Otherwise you can never see the real story beyond individualism. I don’t believe anyone is truly evil. This story reminds me of what happens to troubled teens in the states- ripped from their homes and things to be sent to a farm to work. Some do die and are abused while there, but there is still the side of the parents and the people running those camps as terrible it is what they do. Why don’t we get that with the holocaust, feel like I’m always missing half the story. Reply
