It would have never occurred to me to do anything other than deeply and fully love that child no different than my other children. As a young person, I could see the wrongness of hate, anger, rage without context; and, unfortunately, children with disabilities often come under these emotions.

So, years ago they encouraged people to give away a sick child. What? Only for someone else to do what you should be doing?

And then there is abortion. From one extreme to another. Why not say it as it should be: It is a consideration for a Rabbi, and the husband and wife and under no circumstances a matter to enter into lightly.

Why hesitate to speak truth to establish His Righteousness upon this earth?

A child is a child, genetically affected, or not; they all are a lot of work, and they all require our full love, attention, and great care. And every child deserves our full love and attention.

My grandson was born with Lissenchephaly, and he is loved and a joy . Reply
