I'm wondering why you can buy kosher hot dogs, and kosher dairy hot dog buns...a hot dog buns implies that a hot dog is to be the filing contents for if it is dairy we cannot at meat contents correct? Reply

I absolutely detest it when a proper Rabbi refers to a Mercedes car as a symbol of status. This German car was Hitler's, it's his brand, and its engine was used to gas thousands of Jews. I hear their screams whenever I see this car, and all other German cars. Referring to a Mercedes as a status car for a smart businessman, leave this to the Goyim. By making a "nice" joke to a Jewish crowd, you're encouraging these ignorant Jews to buy the Nazi car. Reply

Rationalizations vs. Desire to follow G-d's law I used to intellectually try to figure why jews had to follow the dietary laws. I figured out during the time when TORAH was written, there was no refrigeration, so it made sense that eating pork or shellfish could be deadly, where as the other meats and fish could make one really sick (one of my rationilization).
I was blessed enough to hear a series of lectures by a Chasidic Rabbi. He was teaching Kabbalah, and i found it interesting, but it was the love for G-d that the Rabbi emanated, that made me really want to study Torah and I decided to do what i didn't understand JUST BECAUSE G-d said so. Also, i felt that trying to gain personal power by just studying Kabbalah and as jew, not knowing Torah, was not what g-d would want me to do. If i don't learn and follow the laws of Torah along with Kabbalah, I am trying to gain without giving anything back. Also, can one eat a SOYCHEESEBURGER? Reply

Avraham ate Milk and Meat together with Angel I don't remember where in my kabbalic studies I heard this story but was there an incident where Avraham sat with an angel and served both Milk and a Cow which he had "created". Why did this not violate torah law ?

To strictly differentiate between the Torah law and Rabbinic Law is the Torah law to not cook the mothers milk of that specific calf. It was unclear to me from the Lecture what precisely the torah law is ?
