how jews dealt with upheavels in Europe They did the natural things people do in crisis. Fear sets in. Panic sets in as people scrambled to preserve valuables, hiding places were considered. Some read prayers found in the list of prayers. Others prayed out of their own thoughts. But not many considered how G-d Almighty was using this event for his glory.
