A dedicated educator, Michael Edelman passed away on April 6 due to COVID-19.
Guided by his love of teaching and mentoring young students, Edelman touched the lives of many during his decades of service.
He was also driven by the causes of equality and social justice.
Mourners noted his brilliant mind and collegiality.
He is survived by his wife, Muriel Frischer, and their two sons, Jonathan and Matthew, as well as a brother, Woody Edelman.
