Able to dedicate himself to Torah learning after his retirement, Peter Weiss took full advantage of the opportunity before his passing on April 13 during Passover.
His study partner, Henri Beer, paid tribute to Weiss in the pages of the Flatbush Jewish Journal, remembering his commitment to learning Torah and the quiet way he went about it, preferring to keep his extensive study schedule to himself.
Weiss was also supremely generous, never letting a chance to help another slip away.
He is survived by his wife, Miriam; their children, Michelle, Stevie and Chaim; and grandchildren.
