Battling health issues for many years, Rabbi Shimshon Rosenberg passed away on May 8 after complications due to COVID-19.

He was a proud member of the Satmar community in the Borough Park neighborhood of Brooklyn, N.Y.

Rosenberg maintained his high standard of service and study in the face of the pain he endured, and was a close student of Rabbi Yechiel Michel Fried, the Kransa Rav, prior to the latter’s passing.

He is survived by his wife and their 10 children.
