Naftali Fishman passed away on April 14 after battling a protracted illness.

He was born and raised in Israel before his family relocated to the United States.

Fishman was a highly respected member of the Boyan Chassidic community in the Borough Park neighborhood of Brooklyn, N.Y.

He is survived by his wife and four children.
