Gregarious and always with a kind word for all those he encountered, Dr. Ruimy Amram passed away on April 8, the eve of Passover, after contracting COVID-19.
Amram served generations of families through his decades of practicing medicine.
The popular general physician is remembered in Casablanca for his boundless energy, heart of gold and legendary availability.
Jewish and Muslim mourners alike are paying tribute to Amram, with one attesting how Amram “made me feel better as soon as he made his diagnosis,” and another remembering his smile, reassuring speech and calming presence.
