Chana Kenig passed away on April 8, the first night of Passover, after contracting COVID-19.

She was the matriarch of a large Chabad family in Israel.

Kenig is survived by her husband, Rabbi Zushe Kenig, and their seven children, in addition to many grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her brother, Rabbi Zev Volf Greenwald, who passed away just days earlier, also as a result of the coronavirus.
