Avraham Sakoun passed away at far too young an age on March 24 after contracting COVID-19.
The French native was a familiar presence during holidays and other festive times of the year in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, N.Y., which he enjoyed visiting.
A talented singer with a passion for Chassidic melodies as well as an expert Torah reader, Sakoun relished learning. He would publicly commit to studying thousands of folios of Talmud within a year.
In Paris, he was very active with the Chabad community.
