Nechama Hass passed away on April 6 after battling COVID-19.

She is being remembered as a champion of all those who needed assistance in her community in Lakewood, N.J.

Together with her husband, Haas helped raise money for couples getting married who needed funds for their wedding.

She was an active member of the school community. Everyone in the Westgate neighborhood knew that she could be relied on for support and help with a good cause at any time.

The native of Toronto, Canada, is already deeply missed.

Hass is survived by her husband, Rabbi Naftali Hass and their 10 children. She is also survived by her parents, Rabbi and Mrs. Moshe Englander, and her eight siblings.
