For more than 40 years, Millicent Silbermintz touched the lives of thousands of children in her role as camp mother and head counselor at Camp Munk, a job she shared with her late husband, Rabbi Yehoshua “Josh” Silbermintz.

She stood proudly by his side as he founded Pirchei Agudas Yisroel, the youth arm of Agudath Israel. And she was a pillar of support when “Kolel Ner Yehoshua” was established, an institution aimed at developing educators and teachers.

Silbermintz passed away the week before Passover.

She is survived by her three children, many grandchildren and a sister.
