Rabbi Avraham Yaakov Littman passed away on April 3 after contracting COVID-19.
He has been lauded for his scholarship and care in the more than three decades he served as the senior teacher at Yeshivah Ohel Torah in Monsey, N.Y.
Littman handed down the lessons he learned from the many Torah leaders he was close to in his youth, affecting thousands of students in the process.
He leaves behind a large family, including a brother.
