Rabbi Yisroel Menachem Rosenberg passed away before Passover as a result of complications due to COVID-19.
He was a key pillar of the “Swan Lake” synagogue in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, N.Y.
Before he moved to Brooklyn around 30 years ago, he was the gabbai and right-hand man for the Kretshnif Rebbe in Rehovot.
His family said he never had a driver’s license; he would ride his bike through all weather conditions to minyan and to shiurim.
He leaves behind his wife and their 14 children, eight of them unmarried.
