Rabbi Mordechai Zevi (“Zevi”) Halberstam passed away on March 28 due to complications of COVID-19, devastating the Bobov Chassidic community of the Borough Park section of Brooklyn, N.Y.

The vibrant young man was a perpetually happy soul, remembered for his special smile and his willingness to help another Jew.

He leaves behind a wife and six young children.
