Rabbi Yeshayahu Englard passed away on March 25 after contracting COVID-19.
He lived in Borough Park, N.Y., where he served as one of the rabbis at the Radomsker Beis Medrash.
Englard was a scion of the Radomsk and Radzin Chassidic dynasties, the son of the previous Radziner Rebbe, Rabbi Avraham Yissochor Englard; his brother succeeded their father as Rebbe after the latter’s passing in 2005.
He is remembered for his scholarship and kindness and is survived by his children and grandchildren, with his oldest son serving as rabbi of the Radziner community in Jerusalem.
