Yaakov Shmuel Freilach was a fixture in the halls of the Krula Yeshiva in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, N.Y. He served there as administrator until his passing on March 30 after contracting COVID-19.
Freilach is survived by his brother, Rabbi Beirish Freilach, a dedicated community advocate and police chaplain.
