A well-known urologist and passionate sports fan, Dr. Mark Allen Respler passed away on March 27 after contracting COVID-19.
His studies took him from New York to Haifa, Israel, before he eventually settled in the Borough Park neighborhood of Brooklyn, N.Y., where he established himself as a respected member of the community.
After completing his studies and residency, including a stint as chief resident of Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital, Respler opened up his own clinic and worked at the Ahava Medical & Rehabilitation Center, serving the thousands of patients who walked through the door.
He leaves behind his wife, psychotherapist Dr. Yael Respler, and their four children.
