A well-known figure in the Bobov community, Yitzchok Banash passed away on March 28 after contracting and battling COVID-19.

Banash lived with his family in the Borough Park neighborhood of Brooklyn, N.Y., where he had operated a fish market and a silver store at various stages, catering to the needs of his beloved Chassidic community.

He leaves behind his wife and young children.
