Tamar Peretz-Levi passed away on March 30 after contracting COVID-19.

Yair Revivo, the mayor of her hometown of Lod, Israel, remembered Peretz-Levi as a “heroic woman.”

She worked as an engineer at Elta Systems, which is in the air industry. She “fought for many years to create a family and bring the twins into this world,” said Revivo. “Within a few days after she was hospitalized, her condition deteriorated. May her soul be bound up in the bond of life.”
