No matter what the danger, how near or how imminent it may be, even if an army is charging towards you, even if thousands fall by your side, even if a sword is held over your neck,

…it is in your power not to fear.

And you have a responsibility not to fear. For with your fear, you not only endanger yourself, you endanger all those around you, especially those who depend upon you.

It is in your power not to fear because as soon as you remove your mind from thoughts that evoke fear, the fear will wither away like weeds uprooted from their soil, like fish pulled up from the sea.

There are plenty of good thoughts to ponder. Keep them always at hand. Turn to them as soon as any disturbing thought appears.

Stay healthy. Do not fear. The two go hand in hand.
