Mankind thinks he/she is centered in the body.
But that is a mere illusion.
With the death of the body,

Guess you never farmed or sailed the seas. Highly doubt the great sailors of the seas and the many yeoman of the land, prior to gps systems, can be called fools. Navigating by way of the stars and knowing when to plant by way of certain Constellations appearing is understanding a language that our so out of touch intellectual world has forsaken, whereby we eat the menu, not the food. I doubt the first shepherd who noticed everytime, that when that big,blue star appears the Nile overflows, and subsequently alerted his village and others in the vicinity of its banks about to be breached, can called a fool...ask his fellow yeoman of the land who were spared the river breaking its banks. Therefore it became known as the Dog Star, as a working dog alerts all when danger is in the midst.I think the ancients rather tried to make the ungraspable graspable by using Allegory. Reply

Measuring Tools - for G_d and Fools Wall Street, Cyberspace, Nuclear Energy, FaceBook...even nature's elements...
- All are tools to expose our nature in a globally interconnected world.

When these tools produce a negative effect, it's a reflection that our human connections are not measuring up to G_d's standard for us at this time. He can employ any of these tools to wreak havoc or even destroy any of our systems or infrastructure instantly.

G_d does not measure our success according to financial, career or celebrity achievements. G_d' goal for us is to acquire His nature. We must create connections that bring us to resemble one man in one heart where He will be the glue between us.

We are fools if we do not pay attention the reports of the measuring tools for our egoistic nature which keeps us separate, individualistic and ability to harm others. Reply

In this day of separation and dissension, this is a wonderful reminder of His oneness and the fact that nothing exists without Him. We should hold in high esteem our similarities, our sameness and honor G_d in all we do. Are we different? Yes. Do our differences matter? Only in the minds if those who seek to make the unholy day I slant to the Holy. Reply

maybe Even on Wall Street, the Master expects us to do our part. For some that means to get rich and be charitable. For those not on Wall Street it is still incumbent upon them to have a healthy financial life. For those who are waiting for gifts from Heaven because they cannot make ends meet, it is not a good idea. One must strive to keep a balance physically and spiritually. The rules are a bit different for Chabad rabbis. I am not in the know as to how they are compensated. What is obvious in my town is that the newer rabbis moving in have it pretty cushy compared to their predecessors. They have two or three children and find that their home is crazy busy, and cut corners on their obligations. Give me a break. They are not lazy. Nonetheless, they are soft and full of excuses. Funny thing, in my teens the hip jargon for fool was calling someone a tool. Live a G-dly life for sure, but you are obligated to keep your eye on the ball. Reply
