Darkness is captivity not freedom. How can be any path chosen if you can't even see where you are or can go? Your only choice is to aknowledge that Someone higher than you has turned off the lights and He's the only one who can turn them on again or really guide you to the switch if you choose to hold His hand or follow His directions.But it's not that easy.F ree will is not that free and many challenges are unspeakable... Ahhh...we want to avoid darkness, but instinctively know it when we are in it. Sometimes it takes awhile to get out of it, meaning out of the situation to make the change needed to walk in the light. Reply

Darkness is the absence of light. It is thought that this allows evil spirits to play whilst the light prevents them from being active, because and presumably they would become visible. I find this kind of argument to be ridiculous and simply regard the darkness as not giving these spirits any greater opportunities than during the daytime. So, confusion of the mind does not apply only during dark times.

And as for freedom of choice, how can it truly exist when we have no alternative? But with any alternative, it ceases to exist! In other words, this expression is meaningless. Now who is getting to be confused? Reply
