1) A man may not marry a second wife whose name is the same as his first wife. Some, however, find a basis for leniency in this regard.

2) Some say that this stringency applies only if the first wife died. But, if she was divorced, there is no objection. Others say that even in the case of divorce, one should be strict about it.
