9/10, great exam; I got question 2 incorrect. I selected marshes instead of river. But, from previous studies of the scriptures I knew the answers on the plagues. Thank you for this exam. Reply

Boy, did I ever mess up. I knew of the 10 plagues. Every Pesach we recite the 10 plagues but, never where they originated. Thank you, I will read Exodus and not just skim over. Good Shabbos on 1/7/22 Reply

IT started in the Nile & ended in the Red Sea for Pharaoh & the Egyptians...

All I knew the Nile turned to blood and the other 9 plagues followed. This was very informative. I enjoy the quiz's . These are great learning tools. Reply

Rabbi Posner, thank you for the informative quiz that seems to have raised a few interesting questions.

What is the source of these questions?
Torah was scripted in ancient Hebrew. Naturally, in today's world with so many definitions, and the evolving of languages, all sorts of questions may come to the mind as we may view the ancient events based on today's understanding that differs from the past.

Hence, if I may suggest that you would consider writing a piece in (Fascinating Jewish Facts) about '' how should we comprehend ancient scriptures'' and ''what factors we may consider'' when we read an ancient text such as Bereishit.

The above is only a suggestion.

Kind regards. Reply
