He’s not suggesting they are “above human“. The Gemara Says that whoever attributes sin to them is in error. We often have the need to find their flaws to make ourselves feel better about our own shortcomings. The truth is however, that the oral Torah makes it clear that because of their high level, their minor in fractions are as unacceptable as simple sins for the average person. It is articulated in the language of simplistic sin because in our reality it has that severe connotation. And this way we retain the necessary reverence for these Giants Which is meant to inspire us, while simultaneously taking the lesson of self improvement. Reply
