The Yom Kippur Service

We are commanded to implement the entire Yom Kippur Holy Temple service, including the various sacrifices and confessions, as detailed in the Torah.

Translation of (the unabridged text of) Sefer Hamitzvot by Rabbi Berel Bell, member of the Rabbinical Court of Montreal and director of Teacher Training for the Jewish Learning Institute.

From "Sefer Hamitzvot in English," published by Sichos in English.
Daily Quote
Just like in the case of two people who are wrestling... if one of them moves with sloth and lethargy, he will be easily defeated and felled, even if he is stronger than his fellow; so, too, in battling one's evil inclination, one can prevail over it ... only with alacrity that comes from joy and from a heart that is free and cleansed from every trace of worry and sadness...
