Start off the week with some Torah inspiration.
The Tanya compacts four millennia of Jewish wisdom to answer the great personal and existential questions of life. It has revolutionized the way we think about G‑d, the human soul, the world and our place in it.
Join us in completing and dedicating the Chico Unity Torah - in memory of Rabbi Elimelech Zwiebel ob"m You will have the opportunity to help the scribe write one of the final letters. Completion Ceremony on campus followed by music and dancing, escorting the Torah to the Chabad House. Festive Buffet Dinner.

Jewish History

In Talmudic times, Cheshvan 23 was commemorated as the day on which the stones of the altar which were defiled by the Greeks were removed from the Holy Temple.

Daily Thought

Suppose we were handed a red pen and an eraser, and told we could rewrite reality. If the storyline wouldn’t look so nice, we could change that. Even if the outcome is what we deserve and what logically follows by our actions, it could still be edited out.

We all have such a pen: Our confidence in G‑d’s kindness. Trust in Him, believe it will be good, and He will make it so.

Is it fair? Is it justified?

Yes. Because if you can trust so strongly, you have already been transformed.
