Dear Leader,
Some of you have written to us to let us know how your Be a Hakhel Leader gathering went last week. We love to hear your feedback! If you haven’t yet shared with us, please let us know: Who attended? What did you discuss? Can you share any inspiring thoughts?
Here is the material for this week’s study group for parshat Chayei Sarah. In it, we explore the theme of personal convictions through an essay on the weekly Torah portion, a short dose of wisdom, and a personal story with the Rebbe. Feel free to use some or all of our material.
Sometimes it can be so difficult to follow what we know to be true. Social biases, the opinions of others, and personal doubts may interfere with our remaining true to our beliefs. How do you remain true to your convictions? We’d love to hear how your group responded to this question!
Wishing you a wonderful Hakhel gathering,
Chana Weisberg,
Editor, TJW
