Igor Kabisher was born in Vitebstk (Belarus) in 1948. He completed his studies at the Arts and Graphics faculty at the pedagogic university in Vitebsk, and carries a Vitebsk artistic lineage, which includes Marc Chagall and Yehuda Pen. His works are saturated with bright characters and sensation from Eastern European Jewish culture. Igor repatriated to Israel in 1990, where he has participated in different international and personal exhibitions. His works can be found in private collections in Russia, Europe, and Israel.
