Artist’s Statement: The Song of the Sea (Exodus 15:1–21) is the song of victory the Israelites sang after their salvation at the Red Sea. The song is recited daily in the morning Shacharit service.

She received a BA in art at Ben Gurion University in Israel, attended visual art college in Israel, and has taught art and Hebrew for the past 10 years at a Jewish day school in NY. As a professional artist, Roni has shown her work across Europe and New York and has had the opportunity to learn about other cultures. Pinto lives and works in New York.
