Artist’s Statement: Every Jewish person connects to each holiday differently. When I think of Yom Kippur, I think of kapparot. With Purim, I visualize a mask and an upside down crown that represents G‑d's hidden nature during the Purim story. On Shavout I think of the first time I counted the Omer. Rosh Hashanna, I hear the Shofar, Shabbat, I hear my father making kiddush, and on Chanukah I see the flames of the candles.
