Creative works exploring life and Judaism composed by a spectrum of Jewish artists.
"The primary talent of an artist is his ability to step away from the externalities of the thing and, disregarding its outer form, gaze into its innerness and perceive its essence, and to be able to convey this in his painting. This is how an artist can serve his Creator." — The Rebbe
Boruch Hoffinger grew up in Brooklyn, where he attended the High School of Art and Design. His parents encouraged him to foster his artistic talent, and in 1971 he received a BFA from Cooper Union. Looking for deeper meaning to his life, Hoffinger accepted a Shabbat invitation during his final years of college and began his journey towards Orthodoxy. He studied in Hadar Hatorah Yeshivah for two years, met the Lubavitcher Rebbe, and now lives with his family in Crown Heights.
