Good News! Audio Classes on the Entire Torah Ohr!

May 28, 2025 2:58 PM

We are excited to share with our Chabad.org family good news: we now offer audio classes on the entire book of Torah Ohr by the Alter Rebbe!

When most people think of learning the Chassidic teachings of the Alter Rebbe—founder of Chabad—they think of Tanya, which can be described as a manual for spiritual life on this physical planet.

However, he also gifted us with hundreds of Chassidic essays (maamarim), including those printed under the titles of Likkutei Torah and Torah Ohr.

The essays, which were delivered over the decades of his leadership, vary somewhat in terms of length and style. Some are accessible to those with a basic grasp of rabbinic Hebrew, while others assume a working knowledge of a wide array of Kabbalistic works.

These maamarim, which are organized according to the weekly Torah portion, are known as the Chassidishe Parshah, the Chassidic Torah portion, something everyone should aspire to learn and draw lessons from, just like the actual Torah portion.

For years, Rabbi Nissan Dovid Dubov, a Chabad emissary and scholar in Wimbledon, UK, has been recording classes on this monumental collection. We are pleased to share that we have recently completing the monumetal task of uploading the entire trove of classes. And now you can access classes on all of Torah Ohr—and a growing portion of Likkutei Torah—right here on Chabad.org.

The Chabad.org Family Mourns Rabbi Pini Hazan, 42

May 12, 2025 12:25 PM

With heavy hearts, we share with you, the Chabad.org family, news of the passing of Rabbi Pini Hazan.

A native of Rome, where his parents serve as Chabad emissaries, Rabbi Hazan was a beloved member of the Shluchim Office team for close to two decades. With heart, humility, and unwavering devotion, he dedicated himself to serving the needs of Jewish people worldwide.

Rabbi Hazan was the brother of Mrs. Chani Benjaminson, leader of our Ask the Rabbi Team and longstanding member of our editorial team; and Mrs. Etti Hazan, who edits our print publication, The Scroll.

Join us in wishing the entire Hazan family that G‑d “comfort them among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.”

Please leave a comment below to share your condolences with the family.
