health and faith Recently I've been praying to HaShem for my mother. She has Alzheimers disease. She is extremely confused, won't take meds for this, won't go into a facility as her doctor wants her to, thinks her neighbors killed her husband and now want to kill her and me. When I tried to get her some home care so she can stay home a little longer with her cat she declared that I'm not her daughter, So I pray that HaShem will protect and help her. The other day my couisin calls...your mom is all excited...she is going into a facility where she can have her cat..........where neighbors won't be able to kill her, she is packing, two friends are helping her. And I'm surprised! WHY? I prayed didn't I? So HaShem answered. Is she healed? NO. Will she be safe now-YES. What a G-d! Faith comes with Torah, prayer, practice, study and caring about others. Reply

Advice for Life: Health Trust , Faith ,Hope and Love in Hashem will make you recover. Believe, simple as that. Humanity has been created to be simple,yet we are the one whom complicate our lives. Reply

When the Rebbe said, "...one should place their faith in the Healer of all..." What method does he use? What are the elements or components of faith? What would the mindset of faith be like - in other words - the internal dialogue, if you will? Or is it more simplistic: "just do what the doctor says"? What is the step-by-step approach to faith? What is the training program for it? Any tips would be helpful. Thank you! Reply
