As a physician, his weekdays were spent treating his mostly non-Jewish patients. Only on Shabbos could he devote himself to addressing the Jewish community’s affairs. As a Halachic authority, Maimonides was the only codifier to elucidate the Seven Noahide Laws for all mankind.
Maimonides’ is an inspiring example, who conscientiously fulfilled his own Halachic ruling, that every Jew must promote truth and righteousness to all the nations of the world, bringing them closer to serving G-d, “with one common effort.”
