your mother
After the talk you gave, did you manage to speak to your mother about her feelings, and her Jewish identity? Its a shame that your father would not her light the shabbat candles even once.

He would help former Christian to to do a Christian prayer or activity, if he/she was now linked to another religion.

No need to sneak in, David
I, too, yearned to become a Jew. I left xtianity for the truth of Torah. So there is not need to sneak in..... but there is no need for a nonjew to convert. Just follow the commands G-d gave to Noah to be a righteous nonjew.

Not Bashing another religion!
Tova is not Bashing another religion! She told one joke for crying out loud!! How many evil jokes are said against the Jews. The speech was very inspiring. I was not born Jewish, but what I am yearning for is probably something I can not get. A Jewish person that is assimilating does not realize what they are doing to one's self. May G-d help bring all the Jewish people together, and if G-d willing I can maybe sneak in to be one of the people of G-d.

Beautiful
This is possibly the best audio I've heard at chabad.org and maybe ever. Absolutely a beautiful story!

Christian bashing at its best!
Could a lot of the humor in this talk be used against the Jewish Orthodox? Why turn to laughing at another religion?

Moved By Your Story
Tova, your life story is very moving. I came to Judaism via Christianity. Up to the time I converted, I was seeking G-d, and conflicted. Now I am content and thrilled to be Jewish. I pray that I will never take my Jewish soul for granted, nor the mitzvoth we have been given.

I was so moved with your life story since my own is very similar in many ways; you brought tears to my eyes. Cannot wait to read your book. May G-d continue to bless you and your family
