What Does TheJewishWoman.org Mean to YOU???

Dear Readers,

It is hard to believe that TheJewishWoman.org is about to celebrate its second birthday! It has been an incredible two years and I am completely amazed at how the site has developed, expanded and grown. And all of its success goes to you, our amazing readers, who truly make it what it is. It is your feedback, opinions, suggestions and involvement that have turned a group of articles about women into a community and family of Jewish women!

Just two years ago the site went live with the first eight articles. I wrote a few articles, and I collected a few from some friends, and that was about it. Clearly, as a new site, we also had no subscribed readers. Yet in these twenty-four months, we now have over 700 articles on the site, from around 100 amazing women writers from throughout the world, and close to 20,000 weekly subscribed readers who have requested to be on our weekly email list(if you are not already subscribed, please do so from the top of our homepage!)

For our birthday issue (which will run the week of Feb. 10 – 16), I will post an article explaining how the site came about and the thoughts behind why it was created. But alongside that, I want to share what really counts, which is what the site means to you, the people we created it for! So I would like to request that you please send me an email, (it can be a few lines or a few paragraphs), basically addressing: "What Does TheJewishWoman.org Mean to Me?" I would like to publish these responses, both from our readers and our writers, to share with the rest of those who read the site.

So please share your thoughts and ideas with me and make sure to include your name, location and anything else you want to tell us about yourself. The more the better! And of course, please send as soon as possible (deadline is next Sunday, Feb. 3) using this form . Can’t wait to read your feedback and put them on the site! So let me thank you in advance for helping me celebrate the site’s second birthday and most importantly, thank you for making the site the success that it is!!!!

With incredible gratitude,

Sara Esther Crispe
Editor, TheJewishWoman.org
