Walking through the hot desert, barefoot and tired.
Emptiness inside, my soul baring the pain of being lost.
Those around me are feeling the wrath, The wrath of our Lord!
The Egyptians were lost at the splitting of the red sea.
But there are still the dangers that lurk within thee.
Hats off to all the negatives trying to hold us down,
O how it runs us through the ringer...
Silence, behold, Without a sound.
But it is within us the Power that lies...
We've restricted ourselves along the way,
Love, Life, Happiness, Money and possibly Play.
I read in a Parshah: sink or swim and I said I will get across!
But in these dark waters, I think I got lost!
As I am wondering the waters alone,
I hear a voice cry out,
Continue your journey,
You’re coming home…
