Take a Moment

time
unable to grasp
yet it grasps you
every minute stays with you
the ones you’d prefer to forget torture you
thrilling ones enliven you
sweet ones comfort you
sad ones depress you
take one minute
make it the one that will inspire you
a deserved sixty second break from society
take leave of your self pity
forget the days endless worries and headaches
for a minute glorify yourself in the title of an idle woman
in that moment
discover yourself
think about G-d's gifts you enjoy and let it seep through
for you are taking a minute just being you
hold the minute close to you
remember what you did with it
let it guide you
inspire you
and never let go
remember what one minute can do
and let this one be the teacher for future moments

Take a Moment
What beautiful words you chose to capture the feelings of those moments and how they come and go....the power they have....Thank you for putting these ideas in such a lovely perspective. I hope I get to read more of your writings.
