False Humility

A mirror lay bare on the wall, forsaken
Its master has not taken the time to awaken
Though flooded with emotions, but none of them sure
Laying seeds to thoughts just short of pure
Praying in a corner fervently with might
Wondering why the Almighty's not answering the plight
"I am naught, I can't, Not able, I tried,"
The excuse; refuses and takes only one side.
Lowliness the feeling, though is humble, not
How in haste with emotion to prove, but forgot
Places the self farther beneath than a fly
The meaning of true humility passes right by
All were given the spark to lay foundations for potential
Ignoring such leads to harsh lessons, quite quintessential
But to make mockery of the Creator and say what is false
To deny Heaven's partaking, more the beating of a pulse
By taking a gift and throwing it away
Saying; to use it as chosen, that I may
Then limiting ability, makings of fragility
The mission given thrown to false humility
