Does G-d Have Friends?

Does G-d have friends to stand by his side?
Does G-d have friends to help him when he cries?
Does G-d have friends he can trust and tell everything to?
Does G-d have friends to help him to know what to do?
And If G-d has friends, then who?
Yes, G-d has friends to help him along the way Yes, G-d has friends to wipe the tears away
Yes, G-d has friends he can trust and tell everything to
But who are these friends...?
They are you.
You are G-d’s friend and He’s yours
He will help you in times of need
He will help you succeed
He will be there for you when you cry
He will be there for you by your side
He will direct you in the right way
He will tell you what to say
But do you help him? Do you serve him in the way he asks?
Do you complete your task?
Do you give him the praise he wants and should get?
Or do you ignore him or pretend to forget?
Whatever your reason is, or even your excuse
You have G-d as a friend, but still
G-d needs you.

a whole new perspective
Thank you so much for writing and posting this. It gave me a whole new way to look at G-d. Thank you for being brave enough to write about G-d this way, and for being brave enough to share it.
