Your name is Bitterness,
Yet, your sweet song is jubilant!
Tears for you tonight
For your song is joyous
At the wonders that brought
Freedom
At the sight of our G-d
Face to face.
Yet, songs to be no longer uttered
In the same way,
Ever again,
Bring my tears.

Experiential Shirat HaYam program in Yerushalayim
Shalom Betsy, With your permission, your beautiful poem will be read together by women & teens in Yerushalayim as part of a dramatization of Miriam HaNeviah's life from childhood to K'riyat Yam Tsuf.
