Beautiful story. I am too and immigrant from the former Soviet Union and know what you have been through. I think the biggest challenge is to stay a ‘Jew’ in America and practice Judaism. So many immigrants forget why and how they came here and choose to follow only materialistic goals and not spiritual. Thank you for this inspiriting piece!
