Is it possible to substitude the fresh yest with dry yeast? what whould be the proportion? Thank you.

Yes, you can substitute two envelopes of dry yeast, approx 6 TBSP for the fresh yeast.

I have made this challah several times using a bread machine and it always comes out great. Recently, I added about 1 tablespoon of za'atar with the seeds! Wow, it was great.

Moroccans never made bread that looked like this! Who ever came up with this has never lived in Morocco. Blah.

This recipe needs 2 teaspoons salt, one is not enough, probably a typo.
