Why do we talk so much? Witness the endless self-explaining we engage in, the perpetual conversation we feel obliged to "make", the quadrillions of words unleashed each day in every imaginable media. Why this insatiable need to put everything into words, as if nothing truly exists until it is trimmed and stretched to fit a set of humanly emitted sounds? Perhaps the Torah reading of Devarim ("Words") holds a clue.

Thank you so much for being on the internet,so one can know what Jews believe and live and breathe, in the way of scripture and G-d's blueprint for us all.

It is through studying Torah w/Chabad that I have learned that it's not just the "words" alone, but the deeper meaning of them that that will form my daily life in the week's ahead, and throughout my entire life, as if I drink from a rich and endless well of inspiration.

I just want to express my gratitude for Chabad.org and the inspiration and knowledge that I have gained, and also my wonderful Rabbi Leberow of the Chabad of Colorado Springs . BARUCH HASHEM!!

A well-defined and cogent article. As with Daniel's vote of inspiration for Chabad, I too have found the myriad of answers to my questions in a living and breathing way; through Jewish living. It is because of Chabad that the richness of life is savored each and every day. Life has meaning and challenges all the senses. We are gifted and strengthened from the Written and Oral laws, commentaries, and customs. During this time of mourning and celebration that we are still here, we acknowledge historical losses, but pray for the coming of Moshiach, as the Rebbe says, "speedily in our days." Shabbat Shalom!

Wonderful news - humankind can reshape its conditions.
Good of you to confirm that all is not a helpless microcosm of chaos coming from an original sin of duality, that the life in all of we sentient beings reflects what Creation meant it to, even if we are a tiny perfect microcopy of a long involuted universe.
The more we strive for good and holy ways, in whatever culture, the greater is a chance for greater universes to do so, as well.
As one rabbi recently expressed it so exquisitely; we are all one living soul, inseparably, life.
