Argentine Synagogue a Source of Pride

City officials joined diplomats from the Israeli Embassy and members of the local Jewish community to inaugurate a renovated comunity center serving the waterfront neighborhood of Puerto Madero in the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires. Directed by Rabbi Chaim Baruch and Bracha Miriam Oirechman since 2004, the Chabad House sits on land granted by the municipality for use as a Jewish community center and synagogue.
